Table Captain Appreciation

Introduced in 1999, In the Company of Women is one of the YWCA’s largest annual fund raising events.  The goal of the event is to raise financial support and awareness for the YWCA’s programs for survivors of domestic violence and homelessness, including Becky’s House®, Passages and the Cortez Hill Family Center. 

YWCA Supporters, called “Table Captains” help fill tables of 10 at the luncheon.  Each seat costs $120 per person.  Tables of 10 cost $1,200.

2011 Keynote Speaker Denise Brown

The luncheon features a Keynote Speaker and special community entertainment.  Previous Keynote Speakers include Denise Brown, Leslie Morgan Steiner, Jane Seymour, Sissy Spacek, Erin Brockovich, Alfre Woodard, Connie Chung, Sharon Davis, Helen Thomas and Nina Tottenberg.
